The bedroom at Knorhoek Country Guesthouse was really spacious and had a lovely en suite bathroom. It made me feel right at home after a long day of exploring. The open-plan kitchenette with a dining table was a great addition. I could enjoy a homemade meal or snack whenever I wanted, and it added to the cozy atmosphere of the room. I loved that the guest units had a furnished balcony or patio. It gave me the perfect spot to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings of Stellenbosch. The private entrance to the twin room was a nice touch. It made me feel like I had my own little oasis away from the world. Having air conditioning in the twin/double room was a lifesaver. It kept the room cool and comfortable, especially during the warm summer days. The electric kettle in the room was much appreciated. I could enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee whenever I wanted, without having to leave my room. The balcony in the twin/double room provided a great view of the surroundings. I loved sitting out there and taking in the fresh air. The twin/double room also had satellite TV, which was a nice addition. It allowed me to relax and unwind with my favorite shows after a busy day of exploring.
Personally, I found that there was only one thing I didn't like about the room. The twin/double room could have had more natural light coming in.

We had a fantastic time at Knorhoek Country Guesthouse! The manager was kind enough to let us have a braai since the restaurant was closed, and the pool at the restaurant was a wonderful addition, even though it was a bit of a walk away. We highly recommend taking the farm walk and the hike through the forest. The honesty bar was a great feature, giving us access to delicious farm wines and lagers. This place is definitely a great value for money, with friendly and accommodating staff, beautiful grounds, and a true country feel. The accommodation was exactly as shown in the pictures, with comfortable beds and all the small touches to make our stay special, like the L'Occitane products in the bathroom. We loved the option of enjoying wine from the mini bar in beautiful wine glasses. our stay was everything we hoped for and more!
There was nothing I didn't like about our stay at Knorhoek Country Guesthouse. 😊

During my recent transit stay at Knorhoek Country Guesthouse, I found two features of the hotel particularly convenient. the database informed me that the nearest airport is only 27 km away, which made it easy and quick to reach the hotel after a long journey. the provided information stated that the hotel is in close proximity to various attractions, allowing me to explore the surrounding area without much hassle.
One minor inconvenience I experienced during my stay was the presence of mosquitoes in the loft unit. Despite being provided with mosquito nets, we struggled with a constant buzzing sound and bites during the night, making it difficult to sleep peacefully.

The location of the guesthouse was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful vineyards and scenic views. It was the perfect countryside getaway. The staff at the guesthouse were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the delicious wine and cheese platter offered at the estate, a must-try for any visitors.
We did find the rooms to be a bit noisy, so if you're a light sleeper, it might be worth requesting a room on the upper level. the pool was not as clean as we would have liked, which was a bit disappointing.

The novelty of being in the country but still close to town. The beautiful vineyards and weather
The bed was too hard The small room was fine for a one night stay but a longer period would require more room

This guesthouse was our first stop after Cape Town and we enjoyed the hospitality and glass of wine on arrival. Our studio was spacious and had all one needs, even for a longer stay than ours (just one night). Wine tasting is available on the property itself, plus it offers plenty of walking opportunities.

We stayed a night in the family suite. The bedroom is cosy and well decorated. Staff was nice, and the domain of Knorhoek Country Guesthouse is charming.
The family suite is a 1br appartement with 2 single beds in the living room. It is well decorated in a "mountain chalet" kind of way, but looks a bit old and untidy. Not really appropriate for 2 couples.

The room was rather dark and actuelly for what it was rather expensive.
